Offbase in conjunction with Alpen Design Works rapidly mobilized to answer the call for Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE, in the Corona Virus COVID-19 Pandemic. We designed a pleated mask, with a rip-stop outer face and a softer inner facing fabric.

The masks are washable & reusable. They are sold in three-packs encouraging users to wash and dry masks between uses, rotating them each time one is worn.

DISCLAIMER: This face mask is made of cotton cloth with parachute cord loops. This face mask may be used when FDA cleared masks are unavailable. The manufacturer recommends against use in a surgical setting or where significant exposure to liquid bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected.

Great looking mask

I bought a set of the NWUIII’s to match my working uniform. They meet regs, they are sturdy, and should do the job they were designed for. I wish I had had them during my COVID Deployment, instead of having to wear free handout ones.

I can’t give a Five Stars since I do not care for the thin nylon ties. The tend to loosen very quickly, and I ended up cutting them down to make ear loops, which get really irritating after 8 hours.

I would suggest a thicker tie for the tie in back units.

Sharp appearance

These are the first mask I have bought. They appear to be made very well, and they are good looking. My assortment had woodland, ABU, and multicam patterns. The elastic digs into the back of the ear, but that might be because of my big head (or maybe all elastic masks do this).

Mask for military

My grandson is a US soldier in Kuwait. They were using their gators as face masks. These masks fit well and come under Army regs and are acceptable. My grandson is pleased. I ordered on line and they were shipped quickly to APO.

COVID-19

With the Military Bases needing face masks now, I went to the website and found these gems. Ordered on their website, picked them up at their store. I called when i got there and they delivered them right to my car. Safe and convenient. Highly recommend them. Set of three had multicam color, air force pattern and woodland camo. Elastic fits perfect around the ears.
