This belt is exceptionally sturdy. Stitching and materials for the PALS webbing are very stiff, so with a little extra elbow grease you get a more solid mount for your pouches. Basically, everything about this system feels like a tank. I found removing a buckle to slide on my holster to be a real bear, but once I got it all set it was worth it. My belt setup is fairly minimal, and though I can tell the system could definitely support more weight, I get the sense this is the ideal way to run it—I can run, jump, and move easily in this belt with zero shifting.
Sizing: I would highly recommend adding an additional two or more inches to your true waist measurement that Haley recommends. For instance, I am a pants waist 30in, true waist 34in (over the pants), yet I needed 36–38 inches of belt length in the end.
