Restrictions

Certain localities and international destinations have laws and limits as to what items can be sold, or as to what we can/cannot send. If your order (shipping and/or billing address) is against any of these restrictions, we reserve the right to refuse part or all of the order. The below information provides guidance on purchases only and should not be considered legal advice. While we strive to provide accurate and up to date information, laws at the federal, state, and local levels are subject to change. It is your responsibility to fully understand the laws in your area and to ensure that any transactions can be completed in a legal manner. BODY ARMOR

State Restrictions

  • Connecticut: The state of Connecticut prohibits the sale of body armor over the web. Sales are only allowed face-to-face.
  • New York: The state of New York prohibits the sale of body armor to those not in Eligible Professions. Proof of engagement in an Eligible Profession may be satisfied by submission, to the seller, of a professional license issued by a federal, state or local government, an employment card or other credential issued by an employer, or in the absence of the foregoing, a form approved by the Department of State that is notarized, verifying that the purchaser is engaged in an eligible profession. Orders placed from New York may only be mailed to the employer address. Orders may not be sent to residential addresses. (More info: https://dos.ny.gov/body-armor) 

Federal Restrictions

Convicted felons surrender their right to own body armor. The US has a federal ban on the possession of body armor by convicted felons.

Returns

All armor sales items may not be returned for any reason. All sales are final. Orders may be cancelled, but cannot be returned once delivery or pick-up is made.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Brand Restriction

Due to agreements with the following brands, we are unable to ship their products outside of the United States. If an order is placed with any items from this brand, and using an international shipping address, the order will be cancelled. However, orders may be placed with international credit cards or billing addresses as long as the products are shipped to a US address.

Military APO/FPO/DPO

We welcome orders from military members deployed or stationed overseas, however export restrictions due apply to these orders under US law. As such, we cannot send export restricted items to military addresses. Service members, please have ITAR/EAR restricted items sent to your US address or stateside military base.

ITAR/EAR Export Restriction

If an item is marked as ITAR/EAR restricted, it cannot be exported or sold to non-US citizens. We won't ship these items outside of the United States, and neither should you. This includes APO's. Specifically, "The Export of the commodities described herein is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State Office of Defense Trade Controls prescribed in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Title 22 Code of Federal Regulation, Parts 120-130." We reserve the right to cancel orders that would violate ITAR/EAR.

Freight Forwarding Services

We understand that many legitimate customers use freight forwarding or package consolidation services to reduce shipping costs, combine orders, or receive items that are otherwise difficult to obtain in their location. We are able to ship certain products to freight forwarding addresses provided all of the following conditions are met:

  • The billing name and address must match the purchaser’s true identity and country of residence. The billing address may not be a freight forwarding, virtual mailbox, or package consolidation address.
  • Customers may not use proxies, VPNs, anonymizing services, or other methods intended to conceal their true location or identity when placing an order.
  • All items purchased are for personal, individual use only. Items may not be resold, transferred, redistributed, or exported beyond the purchaser’s country of residence.
  • Orders shipped to freight forwarding addresses are subject to manual review. We reserve the right to request additional information, cancel orders, or refuse service at our sole discretion if an order appears to violate our policies or applicable U.S. export laws.

Restricted and Prohibited Countries

Due to U.S. export regulations, sanctions, and company policy, we cannot sell or ship products to customers located in certain countries under any circumstances. This restriction applies regardless of shipping method, including:

  • Freight forwarding services
  • Third-party intermediaries
  • Proxy purchasers
  • Consolidation or re-mailing services

Orders placed on behalf of customers in prohibited countries will be canceled. Countries currently prohibited include, but are not limited to:

  • China
  • Russia
  • Belarus
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Cuba
  • Venezuela

This list may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that appears intended to circumvent country-based restrictions or U.S. export controls.
