The Safariland® 6390 ALS Level I Retention™ duty holsters are designed for duty officers, this being the AG model without hood guard. It features the patented ALS (Automatic Locking System) which secures the weapon immediately upon holstering. The system stays that way until the user deactivates the device with the thumb as the weapon is drawn in an efficient, straight-up motion. Constructed from durable, thermoformed SafariLaminate™ material, it features a suede lining to help protect the weapon’s finish. The holster attaches to belts up to 2.25” in diameter and is offered here in mid-ride configuration with the Safariland 6070UBL (included).

Nice Holster, Unbeatable value

I wanted an OWB holster for when concealment didn't matter as much, hiking, etc.. Being OWB, I thought perhaps a little bit of retention wouldn't be bad either. I've always had great luck with Safariland duty gear at work, so I knew that's the brand I would be buying. I was actually having difficulty finding a left-handed, Glock 20 model and then I stumbled upon this sale. $15 for a Safariland duty holster? I feel like I just won the lottery. Thanks Offbase Supply for your charity work. It was even shipped very quickly and cheaply. I'm not sure if it was clear in the description, but this is actually a Level 2 holster. In addition to the ALS, this particular one came with the Sentry Guard. If you don't want it, you can either leave it off or remove it altogether and go back to Level 1. With practice, I actually like it.
