Note: We have found these two sizes fit 90% of users. Velocity System provides measurements on their website, but we find the cummerbunds to be highly adjustable to fit most users. See the "Size Guide" link for more information.
The Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier (APC) is designed to provide the wearer with a high degree of mobility while providing ample surface area for mounting mission essential pouches. The upper front of the APC contains an integral admin pouch with internal elastic loops to retain pens, pencils or similar items. The front lower half of the APC has an integrated kangaroo pouch sized to hold up to three M4 sized magazines with an optional insert. The shoulder pads are the latest design “sleeve” style padded shoulder pads.

Multicam / S/M Plate - Medium Cummerbund
This plate carrier provides excellent coverage, comfort, and utility at a perfectly reasonable price point. As an 11B NCO of twelve years, this is the best armor carrier I have used to date. The adjustability is intuitive and the fit is perfect.
If you're running a placard, I recommend fastening the cummerbund on TOP of the flap in order to avoid unnecessary fumbling while donning and doffing.
The unit I ordered fits both issued soft armor and SAPI plates with zero issue.

Fits and feels great. I’ve warn it 6+ hours with a medium/light load out for a few outings with no issues. I have a S/M APC with a M cummerbund and 10x12 plates. Plates fit with a bit of room to spare so should fit 11x13 fine. I’m big with a semi athletic build, 220-230 depending on the day, 38 navel atm. The M cummerbund fit easily with room to spare after adjustment. Great fit and finish on the carrier.

Amazing carrier that fits extremely well on my body. I'm a relatively slim person so I bought the small/medium version and it fits great. Fits my small sapi plates perfectly and protects all the important stuff. Shoulder straps feel great and have very strong material. My favorite part is the quality of the cummerbund and velcro included with the carrier. It feels top notch and I'm really happy with this carrier. Can't wait to take it to my next field problem

Vest fits nicely, keep in mind im a big boy, around 390 5'7" and this vest fits without modification.

I am very pleased with the stitching and the comfort of this apc. I havent had it long but it feels durable and is certainly well made. However the admin pouches built in are a very tight fit and I would recommend you just get aftermarket ones. Shipping was also quick.

This is an excellent plate carrier, and is my second Mayflower plate carrier purchase. My wife runs the LEPC, and I run the APC. Both are excellent carriers, with great stitching, modularity, and overall construction.

Picked up one of these from the brick and mortar store and I'm really liking it. For this price point, it is an excellent plate carrier. It's a very straightforward design that allows for easy upgrades. Plenty of MOLLE and attachment for placards. It's very comfortable to wear and run around in, even with steel plates in. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Looking to upgrade from my Shellback Tactical Banshee, I decided on picking up the APC from Mayflower. Part of the attraction was the simplicity, almost minimalist approach taken with this particular piece of gear. That being said this plate carrier does rely a lot on hook and loop (velcro) to function; cummerbund, shoulder straps, kangaroo pockets, and front placard.
Aside from that my only complaint is with the actual placement of the shoulder straps, they ride high, and they can dig into your neck/rub against it. I recommend wearing a shirt with a collar to help eliminate this, but it is the only area of criticism I have against this plate carrier right now.
Aside from that the quality is superb, and it fits me very well, albeit it is a much more snug fitting plate carrier than other S/M sized ones. Not to mention the price is very affordable, with street price being $225, you definitely get a lot for your money. Berry Amendment complaint, using actual Multicam and not some knock off.
The short term review and first impression is that this plate carrier is a very good option for those looking for a Berry compliant, quasi-minimalist plate carrier for under $300. The kangaroo pouches are nice touches, as are the three slots per side for magazines or other gear. However I would suggest either looking at padded straps for the shoulders, or replacing them outright. Also securing the cummerbund with zip ties wouldn't be a bad idea either. Worth the buy for those looking.
