Velocity Systems RECCE Chest Rig (HK417)

The Velocity Systems RECCE Chest Rig (HK417) was designed as a long range, long duration reconnaissance vest to be used with the HK417 platform. While designed for the HK417, it accepts many different magazines using 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition like the MR762, G3, or M110A1.

To accommodate the increased weight of a larger caliber, this chest rig is made of a combination of 500D and 1000D materials. It is designed to be ambidextrous and carry 6 magazines in a blended configuration; 3x open top and 3x in flapped pouches behind them. Two large GP pouches flank the magazines and are provided with a fully removable outer flap. The interior of these GP pouches has a removable divider allowing for a radio like the PRC-148 or PRC-152 to be retained. A BA 5590 or similar sized battery as the power source can be carried on either side.

Two small GP pouches are sized for a GPS, flash bang, mini-frag or similar sized items. The H style harness is padded and adjustable for width for use with or without armor and has elastic and 1” webbing vertically spaced on the front for cable/antenna management or hydration tube routing. It also allows for the mounting of additional small items like foliage or tie-downs. Elastic is provided on the front underside of the vest for antenna
relocation.

All hook and loop material used is color matching Velcro® Brand Fasteners. All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.
