Made by LCI and other government contractors for the Navy. The standard military approved signaling whistle features a ring opening with lanyard. The pea cork ball enhances sound effect. Used for police, guard, drill instruction and other duties as required. This is the real deal, Mil-Spec whistle, not a low cost imported look-a-like article found in other stores. The adjustment feature on the lanyard is handy too.
