Note: This fleece does not have the rank tab for wear with the NWU. They sell a conversion that can be sewn on, but we do not have them available. They are available at the Navy Exchange.
The detachable black fleece liner provides extra comfort and protection during extremely cold conditions. The black fleece liner is authorized to be worn as a stand alone outer garment. When wearing as an optional outer garment, the fleece liner will be worn over the NWU Blouse, zipped at least 3/4 of the way. When worn as an outer garment, the NWU blouse should not extend below the bottom on the fleece liner.
FEATURES
- The NWU Fleece Liner has a one-way zipper closure and wind protection flap with a stand up collar. Two upper chest pockets with elastic openings are located inside.
- Machine wash with a mild detergent and tumble dry on medium heat. No ironing required. Dryer sheets and fabric softeners are not recommended
- The fleece liner can be worn under the NWU cold weather parka as an insulating garment. The fleece liner can also we worn as an outer garment by itself. The fleece liner worn as an outer garment is only authorized to be worn with the NWU
